When your child is experiencing some of the following symptoms, they may have strep throat:

• Fever and chills
• Headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Pain when swallowing
• Sore and inflamed throat
• Swollen lymph nodes in the front of the neck
• Swollen or red tonsils
• Tiny, red spots on the roof of the mouth
• White patches or pus on the tonsils

If you or your child notice these symptoms, make sure to bring them in for treatment. We’ll ask you or your child a few questions and administer a rapid pediatric strep exam before providing any diagnosis. If diagnosis confirms strep throat, we’ll offer your child a custom treatment plan to get them feeling better.
